Since many poker players use cryptos, maybe some of you are also intrrested in that topic. I was thinking about creating an arbitrage bot or using machine learning to predict some price patterns. Do you think something like that can be profitable? Does anyone have experience with it?

I think you should try triangular arbitrage on e.g. Binance.
I've done some of this trades manually already so its possible.
The advantage ist that you could do it on a single exchange since you can trade many token pairs there. So your risk is minmal compared to a multi exchange aribtrage trading on two pairs.

So far I failed in finding an algorithm to find the pairsautomatically.
Someone good at math could easily identifiying the correct trading pairs. (Perhaps the Bellman-Ford algorithm)

There are Apis out there for connecting to Exchanges. This is no problem.

If someone would share some code I would be very thankful.
Probably we could collaborate. in this thread.

I also thought about it, it sounds relatively easy though, at least at first glance, so I wonder if the market isn't too efficient already.

It sounds like an interesting idea. I think it would be profitable because, let’s be honest, crypto poker in general is a way many people are looking to gain some crypto. So I assume by predicting price patterns, you might get a nice chance at making a higher profit. My friend actually taught me recently that, if I want to maximize the profit made from poker, I should learn trading on the ecn trading platform. He showed my how he’s able to sell the crypto he made at a higher price and now I’m learning the basics to do the same. It seems like a reliable business strategy, but cryptocurrency is not always stable, so I’ll see how it goes.
